spending time with willow between the poisonwing and sapwing village. they would spend hours together, talking about anything and everything. they both liked to talk about the future together, discussing how life would change once they destroyed the hivewings. sundew would make flowers spring from the ground for willow just to see the smile on her lover's face.
fighting with her mother. they never saw eye-to-eye and sundew yearned to leave the poisonwing village. she hated living there with that despicable woman and hated anyone who reminded her of her mother.
all of her adventures with blue, cricket, luna, and swordtail. she hated them at first, considering them nothing but queen wasp's slaves. but over time she began to see them for who they were rather than who she thought them to be.
watching her village get taken over by the breath of evil. she knew there was something wrong with that plant due to her leafspeak but she couldn't quite place what was wrong until it was too late. she felt sick watching it infect all of the people she once knew.

Meeting Sundew for the first time. She thought the other Leafwing was chasing a dragon who had wronged her and was ready to help her hunt them down. When she found out it was a frog? She couldn't stop laughing.
Fighting against the breath of evil with everyone. the dread she felt when she had to abandon her home for another continent, and the relief that flooded her when the othermind was defeated.

Being born into violence. The humans who kidnapped it hated it. They poked it with spears to force it to do things for them. Eventually, Cottonmouth tested the breath of evil on it, killing and trapping them both in the mindspace.
Spending centuries stuck with the human it hated most. Cottonmouth ordered it around and constantly used it for whatever he wanted. He taught it that dragons were unloving, unlovable monsters.
Dying. 5000 years after being trapped with Cottonmouth and only hours after being taught what love looked like. It gave up the secret to killing it and Cottonmouth, and by extension, the plant. At the very end of its life, it was able to watch Cottonmouth die before it. And it gained a name. Cottonmouth called it "Lizard." But from now on it would be known as "Freedom."
