God… To father twin boys at that age… Ethan wasn’t still sure he’d be able to handle it. But honestly, he was much more trying to focus on Daphne than on the whole fatherhood thing. “I mean, if we’re having a child– If we having children, you’re moving in with me.” He said, firmly, his tone making clear he was not open for dialogue on that matter. “Don’t worry about your lease, I’m sure my lawyer will take care of that, and put it in Lucas’ name or whatever. I’m assuming he and Lilah will want to keep the apartment” Ethan concluded, taking another deep breath. Standing up, he moved to the sofa she was at, and sat by her side. “How are you?” He asked honestly, wholeheartedly, looking into her eyes.
She wanted to fight him on the topic, but it was pointless, she knew Ethan and there was no way in hell he’d budge. She simply nodded at his suggestions for Luke and Lilah to take over her lease and her mind drifted to how she got herself into this situation in the first place. They were always so careful, right? Most of the time at least. “I’m-- okay.” She answered, half honestly. Daphne never imagined herself as a mom, let alone at 26. It was almost overwhelming.. But she was never the type to open up about what she was going through emotionally. “A little hungry, but I’m assuming I’ll be feeling that way a lot of the next 5 months.”
