My spouse just got laid off (company downsizing) and now we're out about a third of our income + our health insurance. It had already been rough for a while as their hours were cut months back. I did sales, commissions, and took on more freelance work to help cover the change, but I'm definitely at my limit and can't take on even more myself. What could really help while my partner looks for employment is joining my Patreon or spreading the word. It can help keep us afloat while my partner's job hunting (they already have been for months but it's rough out there right now) without me needing to double my workload. A Faerie infected with symbiotic fungus. One of the first paintings I forced myself to make during my summer break, I just told myself to sit down and sketch something right onto the watercolor board.

Here’s another small piece from summer break! Sometimes I feel a bit guilty when I repeat a theme too much, but I remind myself that it’s not a big deal, and I’d rather just enjoy myself and make more artwork. So have another flower dragon <3
