"Now c'mon! ask me anything! ..with reason."

"Nice to meet ya too, kiddo! and my favorite book to read is The Ugly Duckling. It may be a kid's book, but it's a classic and.. I remember it rather fondly.."

With tears still in his eyes, he reads over the contract, puzzled and still a bit frazzled, but the scent of bacon brings him back. Eventually...

He signs his name with no trouble and takes the bag of goodies.

The smallest smile graces the side of his mouth. "Thanks, kid..."

But something bugged him. This contract... it was a Snatcher's contract. This girl was that Snatcher's towelboy. And he felt bad since he knew firsthand what that meant. Eventually, he sighed, "Kiddo.. be careful."

"...!"

"..."

"I wish..."

"We talk about almost all kinds of things.."

"Though we mostly ask about how and what we're doing and things like that, since the letters themselves seem to be slowing."

He looked down.

"Huh..."

"Never thought of that before, kid... but I believe she still is a kid. Hat Kid is an alien, after all. And I don't know that much about her culture or her people... she never really talks about it anyway."

"Wish I could say I stopped..."

"I kinda depend on them to keep me from going feral and eating any and every soul I see..."

"But at least El Lobo's gonna see if he can help me stop my hunger... hadn't heard from 'im yet though so I'm assuming I'll get info when I go back to Popstar and happen to run into him."

"Or if Alaina relays a message to me. Either way works."

He sighed.

"As it stands, and I hate to admit, souls are the only real sustenance I can get. Other things like bacon and pancakes I just love eating; there's really not anything substantial to them..."

"Erm.."

"It's been six years, kid. Six years since Hat Kid left the planet. Something wrong?"

"Well..."

"Just think about it, kid.. I'm what you and other people would call a demon."

"Just seeing a powerful soul would make me want it, hungry or not."

"And.. I don't wanna hurt anyone or anything.. lives hold so much value to me. I'd rather starve."

"Suuuuure have, kiddo! it was amazing and gorgeous and full of wonderful people and glorious nature."

"Unfortunately, I had to.. leave that little slice of heaven a week or so ago and.. return to what the Subconites and I call home..."

"Hey, welcome back, kiddos! it's been a while since I'd been asked anything."

"Now I hadn't just been sitting here twiddling my thumbs, ya know. A lot of things changed. A girl by the name of Bow Kid, Hat Kid's sister, has started sending me letters. And I found Mustache Girl and apologized to her and made Mafia Boss get the true natives back on the island.

"That said..."

"DJ Grooves tried to kill Hat Kid despite all she'd done for him to win the Annual Bird Movie Award. Said that she'd 'seen too much' or something... I don't appreciate that, even though I wasn't exactly a saint either.."

{ I really would love to keep answering questions, but it's impossible, well, without any questions. So I was thinking whether I should turn this blog into a Fanfiction AND Ask Blog or start a scenario for you guys to go off of. Put your opinions as a reply to this post. }
