It had narrowed into nothing more than flattened ferns and scattered pine needles, weaving between towering cedars until the sounds of camp had completely disappeared.
No clashing swords.
No laughter from the cabins.
Just wind and the distant crash of waves against the the shore.
Suddenly, the trees opened into a tiny clearing perched overlooking the ocean.
A small shrine sat nestled beneath a cedar tree. It could barely be called a shrine though — A flat stone with a spiral engraved into it. Someone had left wildflowers, a few seashells and pieces of sea glass that glimmered in the afternoon sun, and several candles — some melted nearly to nothing.
It wasn't grand. not by a long shot. but it seemed loved.
Do you approach the shrine? Try to figure out who it belongs to?
Klio…didn’t know where she was going. She just chose a direction, and walked. Eventually, she noticed a pattern in the flora. Flattened plants and things out of place. Not a path by any means, but something.
So after a couple minutes, she stumbled into a clearing near the edge of camp. She more so sensed the waters edge than saw it. Glancing around, she noticed something wedged in the ground at the base of a tree..
It looked kinda like- a shrine? Maybe? It was hard to tell, it was so bare. But the candles and tiny trinkets were undeniably something you’d see on a shine. Klio knelt before it, examining it closer.
“Huh. Who’d you belong to, huh?” She spoke to it as though it—or the thing it was honoring could hear her.
Something about it possessed the essence of the sea. Familiar.
Just the faint sound of waves and the whistle of wind between the trees.
Crack.
A twig snapped behind Klio and when she spun around to see what, or who was she was faced with a girl.
She looked young. Maybe 20 at the oldest, her clothes were every shade of the ocean—soft blues layered together, light enough to dance in, practical enough to climb rocks or disappear into the forest.
Silver and gold gleamed together on her neck and at her wrists in the filtered sun, tangled with sea glass, and gemstones.
She didn’t say anything, just smiled warmly. Maybe she was a camper? Maybe the shrine belonged to her? This mystery girl was beautiful, no doubt about ur it but she didn’t seem particularly godly.
“Jesus-!” She jumped out of her skin, sighing in relief when she realized it was just another person—not a monster.
Or…was she a person?
The girl in front of her was undeniably beautiful, something about her brought peace to her mind. Klio looked them over for a second before quickly clearing her throat and driving her eyes away. Not meaning to ogle.
“Sorry, uhm.” What was she supposed to say? She wasn’t exactly sure if this person was a camper, or…possibly who the shrine was dedicated to?
“Hi.” She choked out, giving an awkward little wave. “Who’re you?”
“Yeah-“ she nodded in agreement, watching her move past her to sit besides the shrine. “It’s weird. I haven’t even heard any noises for the most part.” Klio hummed.
She smiled, although it was a bit awkward and slightly forced. She wasn’t the best with people. Clearing her throat, she spoke — “It’s nice to meet you,”
“Oh. Yeah, that makes sense..” Klio hummed softly as she looked around, straining to hear. Once again, nothing but the wind and water. And she still hadn’t seen anything turning up the brush.
She watched her silently for a moment before shaking her head, realizing she still needed to respond. “No- no. Just..wandering.”
“I see.” She nodded, glancing up at the sky — Zeus’s domain — her brow furrowed, just slightly. “It’s amazing what you find when you just…wander.”
Tyne sighed happily, and leaned over the shrine. She placed a gentle finger to the wick of one of the candles that lay upon it, melted almost entirely.
A flame sprung to life.
“Not a camper, No.” She giggled, shaking her head. “Just…visiting.”

Cordy wasn't the most...social person, Everyone at camp knew that.
She spent most of her time alone, near the lake or ocean.
As you wandered past the camps lake you noticed her talking scolding a younger blonde boy.
"Gods Cassie! I told you not to come here-" She complained, pinching the bridge of her nose. She didn't seem mad at the boy- more disapointed.
"So you get to explore and i don't?!" The boy grumbled, he was holding a...fish in one hand, which Cordy snatched from him and tossed back into the lake.
"You can explore its just demigods are-" She paused, finally noticing you where nearby
The blonde boy waved at you before turning back to Cordy.
What do you do?
(Note: this can take place where ur oc Knows cordy is a siren, or doesn't know. just let me know which one. :3)
"Klio's a cool name!" Castor smiled, revealing sharp, almost shark-like teeth "And i dont know why Cordy doesn't want me here! This place looks cool!"
Cordy groaned "Its because most demigods aren't a big fan of mom. Or sirens- Ive told you this hundreds of times! And you dont even try to look human!"
"I look human!" He grumbled, gesturing down to his legs

Klio was always considered a curse. Ever since she was young—she ruined her villages crops and swept their homes away by storms, whether she realized it or not. She drowned precious food and everyone could tell it was HER.
Then when she got to camp, she’d brought storms that almost broke through the barriers that surrounded the place. Her being next to the ocean was too dangerous.
It didn’t matter where she went. She hopped place to place, and she clumsily ruined it all. Klio was so done. So done, being a curse. Klio was thinking about all of this as she sat in the big house, repeatedly tapping her foot on the ground, slowly getting faster until-
A vase in the corner exploded, water going everywhere. “Gods damn it!” Klio shouted as she stood up, stomping over to try and pick up the broken glass.

Hello! I’d like to start off by saying this is a PJO rp blog, but it’s specifically for an AU. This AU was made by the wonderful mo-mode here on tumblr, or, rad_batson on AO3 !!
This account will have a mix of that AU, and my own personal headcanons. REMINDER, I will rp Percy as I like and perceive, so it might not be perfectly book accurate in your opinion, but please be kind and respectful.
Also some things I’d like to say. Don’t treat Percy like a c.ai bot. A minor runs this account, and if you act inappropriately, I won’t interact with you. I’m not open to doing romantic interactions with this account. Please, just be kind and respectful. This is to be edited.
