There are millions of snake bites reported around the world every year. Ocellated Carpet Viper, Africa
Its venom induces oedema and necroses in the limbs plus haemorrhage which can prove fatal in just a few days. This snake kills more people in Africa than any other snake.

The Indian cobra is mostly active during the evening and early morning. A member of the so called "big four", the four species which inflict the most snakebites on humans in India. This snake is revered in Indian mythology and culture, and is often seen with snake charmers

Common krait feeds mostly on other snakes, but occasionally takes mice, lizards and frogs. Kraits are nocturnal, so seldom encounter humans during daylight hours; incidents occur mainly at night. Frequently, little or no pain occurs from a krait bite, and this can provide false reassurance to the victim. Typically, victims complain of severe abdominal cramps, accompanied by progressive paralysis.

This snake is a creature scarier than your scariest nightmares. They are extremely fast, possibly the fastest snake on earth. They are capable of moving at 11 km/h thats 6.8 mph over a distance of 43M or 141ft. The venom is highly toxic and terrifyingly fast acting.
In cases of severe envenomation, it is capable of killing an adult human in as little as 20 minutes. Victim show signs of prominent neurotoxicity within minutes. At ten minutes post-envenomation, respiratory paralysis can set in and 20 minutes post-envenomation the victim can die. However, depending on the nature of the bite, death time can be anywhere from 20 minutes to 6–8 hours. Without rapid and vigorous antivenin therapy, a bite from a black mamba is rapidly fatal almost 100% of the time. Its been called this "death incarnate"and to South African locals the black mamba bite is known as the "kiss of Death"
Surprisingly, accurate data is hard to find because bites are massively under reported. Some data suggests that while The Black Mamba, Indian Cobra, Common krait and Russell’s Viper each kill thousands of people every year, the Ocellated Carpet Viper alone kills, get ready for it, 20 000 people!
There's an antivenin and treatments for all of these bites. However the scarcity of the antivenins sometimes makes it difficult for victims to get life saving treatment. Even with antivenin with some of these bites victims still have significant odds of dying. These snakes are very dangerous and antivenins can have serious side effects.
