His insecurity and low self-esteem also make him so manipulable. He can be manipulated to go in the right direction. And he can be manipulated to choose the wrong way. (Like he did in that interview with Renner one time when he laughed about Renner's remark about Johann son, calling her a slut.) He often aligns his behavior to the people who are with him.

You can even see that in his acting skills, too, which aren't consistent either. And I think that's because in some movie projects he had a strong guidance (from the director or even from an acting coach), and in other projects he didn't have that kind of guidance.

So he can be manipulated to make wrong decisions. And he was manipulated to make wrong decisions. And I think he knows. And he regrets it very much. That took a toll on him. You can see it in his face.

What else is there to comment on today besides the poorly blended blush and that copy-and-paste smile in every single photo with fans? If anyone comes up with the excuse that he was tired or stressed from the hate, I’ll counter immediately: the people who took photos with him paid good money for it. The bare minimum expected is a little more genuine effort and respect in those interactions.

Honestly, whatever he says tomorrow—or in the future—about this child he hasn't even confirmed yet, or who might not even exist, won't change my perspective on the dull, lifeless man he has become. He wasn't even present at his own sister-in-law's wedding, where his wife was supposedly pregnant. So, whether he confirms it or not, I simply don't see him as a happy man with a wife and daughter; I just see the shell of someone we used to admire.

And don't give me the "he's getting so much hate because of his wife" line. We're talking about the same man who, at the peak of his career, paraded around without a care and started dating a married woman—who quickly got a divorce to go public with him. We saw him with her, and back then he looked genuinely happy. I don't know why he agreed to the current situation (if it was for money), but the fact is it has left him completely hollow inside.

In previous relationships, he would go out like a normal couple, walk side by side, and make a point of supporting his partners' work. But when it comes to Alba, the picture changes: we only see him looking miserable, with a blatantly forced smile, and they're never seen together outside of meticulously scheduled events. She's always alone or with other people—even on occasions where he should be right by her side.

To top it off, I don't envy Alba at all. I would never want to be with someone who seems ashamed to show his wedding ring, who hides me in the basement all year long, and who never celebrates my achievements. We grew up and matured alongside his career. We might have idealised some Hollywood romance back in our teenage years, but we grew up—and many of us built our own families, with husbands and children. We hoped he would find happiness in equal measure as we matured; we hoped for a partner who wasn't racist and for children who were genuinely acknowledged. Instead, all we get are blind items telling us we're jealous of a "relationship" that, if real, is incredibly toxic.

What actually baffles me after all these years is the pure stubbornness of his PR team. They’re still desperately trying to monetize parasocial relationships that don’t even exist anymore.

Sure, maybe they choose to ignore what happens within this specific fandom, but how could they miss the massive cultural shifts of the last few years? Controlled leaks and public manipulation keep backfiring across the board.

Look at Harry and Meghan: monetizing private drama only turned the public against them. Look at Depp v. Heard: the age of the "controlled narrative" died the second the internet took over the story. Look at Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles: the whole "blame the toxic audience" play crashed and burned.

In a landscape that’s changed this drastically, why are they still clinging to a playbook that clearly doesn’t work anymore?

However, the fact is, MOST People are not interested in his personal life and all they've done is shove it so public for years that people couldn't even watch his press for the movies he was doing. Almost every article was pivoted into "His marriage" "His wife" over and over. And in general people that are genuinely private do not behave that way, look at Tom and Zendaya? Did people speculate they got married for a while when they acted coy for a long time? yes but it was still handled SO respectful and so classy and it was proper publicity. Proper milestones are still properly confirmed-- weddings and children.

And also for the record, anyone perceiving the public facing behavior the way they did (Real or fake) Isn't technically wrong, everyone just perceived what they were shown in their own way. But let's remember you can't blame fans for all the Blinds, or the articles or any of their social media behavior.

It sounds unhinged, but in high-stakes celebrity PR, a child narrative is the ultimate brand preservation armor. If the public found out that the relationship was a short-lived arrangement that legally dissolved by that November 7th Decree Nisi, the actor's clean-cut leading-man brand would have taken a massive hit right before his huge Marvel return.

The reason Jason Weinberg didn't do that and instead used blinds to aggressively attack the audience, is because they could not produce the facts to back up a standard statement, I.e. a child.

Now we get sticky, The Answered Cheating Blind.

You do not pass off year-old photos from Australia as current-day Tennessee, or use two-year-old Vanity Fair photos for Mother's Day lists, if you have actual, real-time proof of life. You only use ancient, laundered assets when you have zero genuine evidence to feed the media algorithm.

They didn't withhold confirmation because fans were "toxic." They withheld it because there was nothing to confirm. By using those June blinds to blame "unhinged online stalkers" for their silence, they created a dark psychological shield: they made the audience look crazy for asking for proof, ensuring nobody looked at the actual corporate and personal fraud occurring behind the curtain.

If you analyze the situation through how Hollywood operates, the data points squarely toward a total corporate narrative fiction rather than a real human infant life. I sure hope so, because let’s flip it and say the kid is real. 

What If There IS a Real Child?

The doors open tomorrow. If he pulls this stunt, the internet is going to absolutely explode. And btw, “confirmation” means from his mouth on record (with video), not a fan SAYING he said it.

None of these people live paycheck to paycheck. Chris's friends have money too. Not as much as him obviously, but none of them are broke. As for the friendship, it makes sense that Tara and Chelsea are friends with her. Like Chris, they never matured past their 20's. She makes them feel young.

Three things stood out. They mentioned he didn’t need to spend money on a hotel room because he could “stay at his Mom’s house”. Wouldn’t his team made sure everyone recited their fairy tale narrative that he and his family had relocated to MetroWest? They also apparently didn’t get a memo from his PR team and never mentioned his supposed family - the “wife” and “kid”. And after looking up how much people would need to pay to get a photo with him or an autograph, on top of their admission ticket, they correctly noted that this appearance wasn’t for the fans but rather a money grab, especially where other well-known actors would be appearing and charging less for those items.

But isn’t it obvious that this latest situation with Marvel is nothing but a money grab for many involved, particularly him? The story ended with Endgame, and yet here we go again.

Keep in mind that long-time Boston radio personalities like on this show live in the area and are well-acquainted with the extended Evans family, so their comments were even funnier.

Yeah, totally. His past persona was dynamic; the different sides of him complemented one another, and he genuinely seemed like a compelling, good person. He managed to appeal to totally different crowds. You could tell just by looking at the demographic of the fandom in the past — which feels like a hundred years ago at this point.

Now, his image is completely flat and dull. He somehow thought it was a good idea to put all his eggs in one basket, which, let’s be honest, is looking more like a black hole.

Photos go so fast it’s a little different, but still, not at all an experience most are expecting when going to comic con.
