I rolled my eyes at this a lot but then I also read it all in a weekend. Guess it’s important to show old boring queer people because this is the first generation of queer people to get old. Get the same kind of Joe Matt putting yourself out there for art but it’s about how you’re rich and pretend to want to destroy capitalism.

Loved this so much. I hangout and draw at a used bookstore where everything is free and donated so some cool stuff shows up. A friend of mine found this and told me “I have this at home and love it one of you should take it” so I took it. It sat around for a bit after I initially flipped through it but I picked it up around Halloween and loved it. I’ll be ripping it off for the rest of my life. It’s funny and scary and hits home. The ink washing is beautiful. The water colored covers are out of this world.

This is all 80s Peanuts and it’s my first time reading much 80s Peanuts. It’s wild. It feels very different from the 50s and 60s stuff I’ve seen much more of. Pages and pages of stories of Tapioca Pudding, Spike and goofy Snoopy jokes.

Every time I read one of these queer ya comic I feel like I could write one.

Grabbed this Pep from Desert Island. Fun Archie bit problematic. Oh well

Grabbed this at Desert Island really loved it. The color the feeling. The way it’s paneled with no gutters.

I read this in two sittings and the first one I thought this looked cool but it was kinda bullshit story wise. Finishing it everything clicked together it was funny, it felt like it wrapped everything up, it ruled.

I like how vague this was. Feels really brave to do that as a writer. I’m sure it’ll be fleshed out more in later volumes but I don’t really know anything about anyone. I guess it’s an orphanage but why is the new nerd kid being dropped off by his parents. Their parents visit? But some can but don’t? Letting the reader fill in those gaps for now is a really compelling way to keep the story going.

A crown jewel in my comics collection. Nancy is the best. I love Nancy!

I laughed out loud multiple times at this comic. It’s silly but also beautiful. The water coloring in this thing are so nice to look at.

Hate it when the beach covers have no beach stories lol

Goofy Archie spin-off comic. A lot more fun than it has any right to be.

Just an absolute masterpiece. One of the best graphic novels. Excited to reread this in the collected Eightball to see what it’s like to read them broken up. These stories are all so well done and build off each other but also act as stand alone episodes on their own. The Ghost World intros are so good. It’s one of the most well known indie comics for a reason.

Don’t know if I am just in a real super hero comic mood or I have good shit but this was a total banger. Lot of fun would read the next one but it’s not a huge deal

Read this in a whim and it hit so hard. Instantly looked up how to get the other four in the series on eBay and will probably own them soon
