Happy birthday, today, you would've 54 and thriving with your own dance studio and a million credits to your name from all over the world. You were so talented and inspiring, motivating and you seemed to have such a huge heart full of love, kindness, bravery. You will always be loved by your family, friends, coworkers and all of those who were fortunate enough know your gorgeous soul when you were here. As for your fans here on Tumblr, Instagram and Facebook, we will always carry on your legacy as a dancer, your memory and your brilliant spirit.

One day, I’ll see you and tell you all about the good impact you made on people all over the world from Japan to Turkey, all the way to the States and France. Over the last six years, I’ve tried to learn more about you and your work, but in the last year I’ve learned way more than I could’ve ever imagined.

Although these facts may seem small or unimportant, they matter to me because these facts are pieces to a puzzle that I am constantly trying to explore and put together to look at as a whole. To see a larger picture that shows the human in you I wish to see, not the celebrity. When I look at a photo of you, I see a genuine kindness in your smile and the goodness of your heart in your eyes and it makes me feel lucky to know about your wonderful soul.

Dominic, you are so admired, respected and you inspired and still continue to inspire so many people but most of all you are loved more than I think you’ll ever know.
