Bigby blinked letting his eyes return to normal. “If she challenges me. I won turn her down.” He said simply. “I won’t lose again.”

"You'll die next time, Bigby!" Snow glared at him, miffed that he wasn't going to heed her. "You can't go up against her again, it's too risky."

Bigby looked at her with golden eyes. “I most likely have to fight her again snow and you know that.”

"You don't have to," she insisted. "You don't have to do anything. Street justice won't be how we solve this problem."

He nodded agreeing with her. “Yeah…. And next time I’ll be ready for that bitch Mary.”

"You're not fighting her again." She shot a stern frown his way. "You heard what Dr. Swineheart said. One more incident and you're gone."

With a low sigh the man nodded. “Yeah…. I’ll be fine. I’ve had worse.” He said looking at his friend. “Seriously I just need to finish this damned case so I can rest.”

"It's almost over," she assured him. She chewed the inside of her cheek nervously as she thought about the dangers in continuing to chase after this crime syndicate. "We know more about the Crooked Man and Crane's involvement and we're much better prepared for them now."

With that thought of a riot the sheriff laughed and regretted it. He held his wounded side as he laughed.

A small horrified gasp left her lips as he winced in pain from laughing. She was helpless to do anything now, though. The damage was already done. "Are you going to be okay, Bigby?"

The sheriff sighed and looked down at his shoes. “I still shouldn’t have yelled.” Bigby muttered. “It was uncalled for… And besides I couldn’t go to the farm anyway.” A chuckle escaped the sheriff.

"You're just tense. We all are with everything that's happened." Snow patted his shoulder, trying not to hurt him further. "I know you can't go to the Farm. They'd have a mutiny within seconds of your arrival."

The sheriff shook his head. “No it’s okay…. I—I didn’t mean to snap at you.”

"It's fine. I shouldn't have started pestering you about Colin." She gave him a small smile in hopes of reassuring him. "It wasn't the right time for it."

The sheriff shifted as he waited for the elevator to arrive. “Go home brace my arm against something them snap it back into place.” He sighed

"Do you need help with that?" Her tone was hesitant and uncertain. She didn't want to encroach upon him, but she had to make sure that he was going to be okay.
