I've recently been on the hunt for the perfect pizza in central London and this fantastic place is definitely in the running for the winning ticket. Hidden in the pretty little corner of Neal's Yard, Homeslice is a dimly lit, quirky joint serving a small menu of exquisite pizza's from its wood-fired oven. 

The way it works is simple: choose your toppings, choose your base (tomato or garlic) and then decide whether you are going to go for the 20 inch pizza or just a slice (ample size!). Undoubtedly the best option is the big one (just £20!), they serve 3 people comfortably and are served on a large wooden board, oozing with flavours and with your own pizza cutter to divide it up. 

The atmosphere here is as good as the food. With feel-good tunes blasting across the room and superb service, you can't go wrong with Homeslice? The only problem? You can't book... So don't go on a Friday or Saturday unless you are happy to wait around for a while. However, with takeaways going out just as quickly as the main restaurant orders, you can always guarantee pizza, even if you don't get a table!

This little gem has always produced my favourite coffees. I don't know what they do but the 'East' espresso blend is just utterly delicious! Situated a stone's throw away from Shoreditch High Street and the bustling Brick Lane markets, Nude knows how to attract a good crowd.

Weekends especially, it is hard to find table at this little hangout, but if you get the one in the window you are in for a real treat, it is the perfect spot for watching the hipster crowds pass you by. 

Great for breakfasts and afternoon snacking, make sure you try the pastries, they are delicious.
