He yelped a little when Dave grabbed his butt, jumping some. “S-shit, Strider, when you put it that way there’s no fucking way I can say no, is there?” Karkat gave a nervous little giggle, eyes flicking to watch Dave set his sunglasses up on the coffee table.

Karkat could feel his pulse pick up as Dave pressed against him. Through the thin fabric of his shirt, he could feel Dave's equally frantic heartbeat. "I already said that when you put it that way there's no fucking way I could ever said no..." his voice had dropped and was barely above a whisper.

"Yeah, but you’re my asshole so I suppose I can tolerate it." Karkat replied, tucking his knees up against his chest to try and ward off the waves of nausea assaulting his body. "Fuck, now I’m hot…" He kicked off the blankets and then began to shiver. "Dave, remind me to never have a fever again. This is the worst thing ever."

"I’ll try." He rubbed Karkat’s back, frowning. He felt bad that he was sick and that there was nothing he could do to make him feel better. "Do you want some medicine or something? Or did you try that already."

"I told you that if anyone tried to force that pink goop down my throat than I would barf all over everything you love. And that's not a threat, that's a fucking promise." Karkat grumbled unhappily into the cotton bedding.

You didn’t hear word from the hospital for two days. When you did it was around four in the morning. The phone rings, waking you from your slumber. “Mr. Ampora, it’s Fairfield Hospital. There has been another incident. Karkat… he made another attempt right earlier in the evening. He just got back from the ER and is stable.” The nurse explained, calmly. “But, we do think that’ll prevent him from being released tomorrow how you wanted.”

You listen and sigh. “Naturally… Is there any way I can come and see him though? To talk with him?” you ask.

There was a pause on the other end of the phone. The nurse sighed on the other end of the phone. "He's stable physically, but mentally he's under a lot of distress. I'm not sure if talking to him right now would be such a good idea. It might be best to let him be for a little to calm down." There was some muffled talking on her end of the phone. "....All right, I'll ask. Mr. Ampora, would you perhaps like to speak to him over the phone?"

"Y-yeah. I’m fine." Karkat nodded, shrugging off his initial fear. Him and storms didn’t really get along, but there was no way he’d let Roxy know that. "Fuck, it’s like it’s going to bring the whole goddamn house down…" He commented, shining his light up into the rafters. "Do you wanna keep going?"

She sighed and leaned on the doorway, but made sure it was sturdy with her hand before she did so. “Well, it’s been here for at least ten years..and it’s normal to have bad storms here.” She shrugged, although she’s sat through many storms before, they still make her jump from time to time. “If it can stand for all those years, it can stand for just one night” She looked into the other room, then back at Karkat. “Do you wanna keep goin?”

"Thanks for so readily agreeing with me." He rolled his eyes with a huff. "Imagine being trapped in that never ending hell for years on end."

"I meant my own timeline too. Of course I didn’t make it past the killing sprees…" you shrug.

"Er, yeah... that's true." Karkat awkwardly agreed, wincing a little as you so offhandedly mentioned the genocide you committed back on the meteor, regardless of timeline.

"I’m not cute…" Karkat whimpered a little as Noiz continued to pump in and out of him. He reached up and covered his mouth to muffle the lewd sounds spilling from it. He couldn’t tell if how he was being pounded felt good or was hurting. He settled for a maddening combination of the two. Noiz rocked him in such a way that he scooted a little across the floor with each thrust until he was flush with the wall and being screwed into it.

"That sounds like a fucking nightmare," Karkat groaned, burying his face in his pillow. "And how fucked up would it be if you still dated me if I did, heaven fucking forbid, decide to give myself a Strider make-over?" 

"Davecest. I like it." He grinned, chuckling to himself. "I’m kidding. I think it would actually be kind of creepy if you did that and we were together. It’d be like I was dating myself. If I ever dated myself I would dump me immediately because fuck I’m an asshole."

"Yeah, but you're my asshole so I suppose I can tolerate it." Karkat replied, tucking his knees up against his chest to try and ward off the waves of nausea assaulting his body. Karkat’s brows creased as he stared up into Dave’s face. He wasn’t sure how much he liked that simile. “Dude.” He said, his expression becoming a little concerned. “Taking that one a little too far, don’t you think?” 

"Yea, sorry." He smiled and slipped his hands in the back of Karkat’s pants, giving his cheeks a gentle squeeze. "I guess you could say that I’m in the mood. But I won’t do anything unless you want to." He pecked his lips and took off his shades, folding them up before putting them on top of his laptop.
