you are by far the ‘sweetest thing’ ive yet to see. you told me ‘nothing even matters’ after you stole my heart with harmonies. still, ‘everything is everything.’ i overstand the ‘miseducation of lauryn hill.’ id go ‘to zion’ to find your melody. ‘every ghetto, every city’ misses you. many say hip hop is in its ‘final hour.’ so many ‘lost ones’ looking for direction but missing the substance in their quest to be a ‘superstar.’ so many missing your voice, your presence. you are hip hop’s ‘ex-factor.’ my relationship with hip hop has soured. ‘i used to love him’ now im lost but still hoping to get ‘that thing’ back. i knew you were too good to be true but if you are, true, you’d come back.
