The Cab Day’s fourth annual fan project is called The Cab Is.
We’re putting together a digital scrapbook of fans experiences, feelings & stories of what The Cab Is to them. All you need to do is go to thecabday.tumblr.com/submit & answer the prompt “The Cab Is.” You must include at least one sentence that follows that format. It can be as long or as short as you like. You can take ownership of it or you can be anonymous. You can add photos, videos, whatever. Your entry is up to you. Deadline for entries is April 27th.
The Cab is coming. And the fans will be with them every step of the way.
For The Cab Day, we’re using the Elfster gift exchange service to match Symphony Soldiers up with other Symphony Soldiers globally to be pen pals! This is such a great opportunity to make meaningful connections with people who love the same things as you do! It should be a lot of fun getting to know each other offline.

Don't know how to get to Greenbelt Park by commuting? Don't worry, we've got you covered! Just choose one of the options below and you're sure to get there.
(Note: We have set TriNoma Mall/North Avenue MRT-3 Station as a starting point for those in the North and Magallanes MRT-3 Station for those from the South.
If you're from the South:
A. Option 1:
Take a bus going to Monumento or Baclaran - Minuyan
Drop off at A. Arnaiz and take a jeep to Pateros-Ayala; or
Walk to Greenbelt Park
B. Option 2:
Take the northbound train and get off at Ayala Station
Take the Baclaran-Malanday bus and get off at Makati Avenue/Ayala Avenue intersection then walk to Greenbelt Park; or
Walk through SM Makati through Glorietta 3 and Landmark to Greenbelt Park

A. Option 1:
Take the southbound train and get off at Buendia Station
Take Monumento Philcite bus via Ayala EDSA
Drop off at Makati Avenue/Ayala Avenue intersection
Take Makati Avenue and walk to Greenbelt Park

From Paramount, ride the bus to Baclaran-Malanday via EDSA
Drop off at the Makati Avenue/Ayala Avenue intersection
Take Makati Avenue and walk to Greenbelt Park
C. Option 3:
Take the southbound train to Ayala Avenue
Take the Baclaran-Malanday bus and get off at Makati Avenue/Ayala Avenue intersection then walk to Greenbelt Park; or
Walk through SM Makati through Glorietta 3 and Landmark to Greenbelt Park
But if you've got money to spend or want to take the easiest and safest way to the venue, take a cab to The Cab Meet-Up! ;) Just tell your trusty taxi driver to take you to Greenbelt Park/Greenbelt 4. Don't forget to text someone the cab's company name & plate number for your safety!

We are very proud and excited to announce that the Philippines is one out of the ten places they have chosen to have a meetup. After weeks of careful planning, we have chosen a place that will be both safe and accessible to fans in Metro Manila.
WHERE: Greenbelt Gardens, Makati City WHEN: April 26th, 2014 at 12NN.
This is an opportunity to meet and hangout with fellow Soldiers, promote The Cab’s music, and win prizes. You might even get a sneak peek of new music from the band!

In the spirit of The Cab Day we want to make the whole month of April be about getting the word out about the band. As The Cab finishes up their third studio album we need their fan base to be louder than ever. Whether you were blasting I’ll Run in 2008 or fell in love with La La yesterday, you’re here reading this post because you are rooting for the underdog. You know The Cab is coming…. but not everyone does.
Our mission is to let everyone know what we’ve known all along. Let’s start the buzz The Cab deserves. Your goal should be to have no friends or followers who don’t know who The Cab is. Rather than give you a list of daily challenges we thought we’d let you be creative this year. As the month goes on we’ll post different challenges for you, but strive to post once a day even if we don’t prompt you.
Here are some examples of things to post: •Change your profile pictures and icons to one of you & The Cab, your favorite member, or anything The Cab-related •Link to their music, interviews, and videos •Change your name on Twitter to something The Cab-related •Make The Cab photo sets on Tumblr •Post things in The Cab tag on Tumblr. We don’t wanna see actual taxi cabs! •Make your favorite member your man crush Monday on Instagram •Send out Snapchat’s of you singing one of their songs •Make fanart or cover your favorite The Cab song •Add a The Cab lyric to your Twitter bio •And of course, follow your regional Starry Eyed Soldiers street team!
We’ll be posting more specific prompts as the month goes on to give you more ideas, but for now- get posting and be creative! The wait for new music is almost over and we want the world to be ready.

The Cab Day 2014 Meetups
We’re very excited to announce that as part of this year’s The Cab Day celebrations we will be hosting fan meetups around the world on Saturday April 26th. Going to a meetup will be an opportunity to meet other soldiers from your area, celebrate and promote The Cab, get promo materials for The Cab Day, and win prizes!
Each separate meetup will be hosted by the local chapter of Starry Eyed Soldiers, The Cab’s official street team. We will provide team leaders with lots of goodies for everyone that attends the meetups, including posters, stickers, The Cab merch, snacks, and possibly even a sneak peek at what The Cab’s been working on in the studio…

The girls behind The Cab Philippines
Hi y’all we want to reintroduce ourselves to our new followers because we’ve gained quite a lot. We want this account to be as personal as much as possible so we thought we’d tell you a bit about ourselves. There are 2 admins: Lara is a med student and Bea is a registered nurse, we are both 22 years old. Our personal twitter accounts are @LaraAnjela and @anabeii. We met at the All Time Low signing back in 2011 and I guess we hit it off because we’re both insane. On SESPhilippines we basically creep on fans, retweet a lot and get sent to twitter jail 90% of the time, reply to our own tweets, trend silly hashtags, and make inappropriate jokes here and there. Sex. We have no idea what we’re doing to be completely honest. Oh and yeah, sometimes we promote The Cab!
But all jokes aside, we’re two girls who love The Cab and want to make the fan experience fun for everyone!
