Food for Thought

Ever met that one girl that made you want to cook for her? I mean....you don't even cook but the thought of being able to nourish her beauty compels you to take a quantum leap and try. So you look up different recipes til you get the perfect 3 course meal planned.....you know, for variety's sake. You go to the store to gather the plethora of ingredients needed to bring your ambitious menu to fruition, laboring all throughout the store to find them. You make it back home, take your tender time to prepare every morsel of food to it's most perfect state. She arrives not a minute too early or too late. You tease her with wine to warm her to your ambiance and to prepare her for the decadence in which she stands to indulge.

Although confident in your creations, you still wonder if all your hard work will lead to a smile of satisfaction from her. She hesitates to take her first bite, not knowing what to expect from someone she had never known to cook before. You tell her to close her eyes and focus on the food, not the man in the kitchen, and perhaps she'll love it. She took one bite......and she's been hooked ever since.

Moral of the story: Food for thought made from love never disappoints. The end.

There are so many reasons to love music. It helps bring to words emotions that have left us speechless. Helps make life simple when everything else seems complicated. Everyday life shouldn't be complicated either. We shouldn't worry about what people think, how much money we make, what our countertops are made of, when we're going back to school, whether my shoes are exclusive enough, who's marrying who, how so and so got pregnant......we should just live and feel blessed for the opportunity to do so.
