The women are never released because they're not imprisoned in the first place: The Milking Shed is a "place of work" like any other.

What do you do with the breeding units once they get pregnant?

Wait nine months, then, after they give birth, two things happen. 1) we harvest milk from them for The Milking Shed for a couple of years, 2) We put them to work in the fields until they're ready for breeding again.
