Keep Going.
The world keeps spinning after you are dead,
The clock keeps ticking when you go to bed.
The cars keep moving when disaster strikes,
The buildings stay standing when you go on a hike.
Life keeps moving, even when you don’t.
People keep talking, even when you won’t.
Just keep moving, you really shouldn’t stop,
Because if you do, you will never be on top.
They say to keep going, make the most of your time,
They say keep going, use the rich man’s dime.
They say keep going, or you might be used,
They say don’t stop, otherwise you’re a fool.
The clouds keep forming, even when you want clear skies,
Nature doesn’t care for your wishes or lies.
Maybe plant a tree, or choose not to kill a bear,
Maybe then nature will listen to your cares.
Nature keeps growing, even when you are dead,
In fact, nature may choose to make growth in your head.
Your time is limited, nature’s is forever,
For you, fate simply will choose to pull your lever.
So keep going, just keep going.
It’s better to keep trying than never knowing.
Never knowing what could be,
Never knowing what you could see.
