He's saying goodbye to the women he loves with promises, he doesn't know if he can keep, and no certainty of what the future holds.

-He's so relieved she'll get to live. The pain and anguish and potential terror of not seeing her again is all about to end. Haeina will live. (Hence the little laugh that immediately turns to full fledged crying again)

- Can you imagine loving someone with all your heart, making amazing memories with them and now when they're about to lose them all you've promised to help revive them - to make the other person fall for you. It must be so scary for him. He doesn't even know what the impact of the surgery will be. Will she be the same? I'm really gonna lose her for a while. Can I really make her love me again? What if she forgets me?

- All their memories are now essentially his only.

- He can't complain ever cause just having her live is a miracle. Not to mention, he's the one who convinced her for this.

Everything went from zero to sixty real quick with that car accident scene. One minute Hyun Woo's out shopping snacks, and the next he's witnessing a horrific crash.

My heart literally stopped when he saw the car collided. The panic in his eyes, the way his breath hitched – you could feel the sheer terror radiating off him. Hyun Woo's world completely crumbled in that moment. The thought of losing Hae In, the woman he loves despite everything, sent him spiraling.

But then, Hae In walks in, completely oblivious to the emotional earthquake that just hit Hyun Woo. And the look on her face when she sees him in that state is priceless. It's a mix of confusion, concern, and maybe even a tinge of fear. Here's the guy who's always been calm and composed, always had a good handle on his emotions, suddenly a sobbing mess, and it's freaking her out!

This scene is fascinating because it flips the script on their dynamic. Hyun Woo, usually the stoic one, is completely undone, while Hae In, who often hides her emotions, is left to be the pillar of strength. It's a role reversal that highlights just how deeply they both care for each other, even if they can't always express it.

The way Hae In comforts him is interesting too. It's gentle, but there's also a hint of frustration. Like, "Hey, what's gotten into you?" mixed with a quiet reassurance that she's okay.

This whole sequence left me emotionally drained, but also strangely hopeful that now she will get the surgery seeing the wreck Hyun Woo became at the thought of her death.
