Okay, a few weeks ago I did a poll to see which element Tweek would control in this AU and finally here are the final results¡¡¡¡

Craig is a waterbender from the north tribe, who, funny enough, it's not that good with actual waterbending but he is good at ice/snow bending, as always he is best friends with Klyde who lowkey is also his n° 1 fan.

Craig was fine with living in the north tribe and never really wondered what was outside the tribe, but of course Klyde got bored since he is a nonbender and somehow convinced Craig to join him into running away from the tribe looking for better opportunities that don't involve fishing for the rest of his life.

Regarding Tweek, obviously he had to be a firebender because who doesn't love the red&blue ship? (Also I made a pull and most people voted for him being fire so here we are) In his case his family used to live in the fire nation, both parents being nonbenders, they couldn't care less about the war and the human right violations of the nation, the problem came when the war caused higher taxes and Tweek's dad didn't want to pay them, so they just left the fire nation and moved to Ba Sing Se when Tweek was very young, they reestablished their business there and as tweek grew he started to have panic attacks and accidentally discovers he is a firebender, when his parents found out about it they started to prepare him a "especial brew" that almost completely put his firebending to sleep, but he became kinda dependent of it as a side effect.

Panel 1:

With a dramatically ink filled background for emotional effect, 'Yoshiki' yells distressed and crying as Hikaru holds it back with an under the arms grab.

'Yoshiki': I'm a monster, so please kill meeeeeeee! Hikaru: Oi, oi, oi. 'Yoshiki': I'm goin' to go die!! Hikaru: I told ya to calm down.

Panel 2:

Now that everyone is calm, both characters sit at a table. A beverage sits in front of a still glum and teary 'Yoshiki'.

Swap au, but it’s ‘yoshi’yoshi (or still canon yoshikaru if u think about it) bc for this au, unuki sama is the variant that remains the same, and going through yoshiki’s memories he starts falling in love with that dead yoshiki, he knows everything about him but could never met him or be with him; as for Hikaru, he’s spent all his life besides him but never got to fully know him.

I had a lot of fun exploring all the possibilities and complexities for this au w some oomfs on twitter they all got such amazing ideas !!!!

My input:

The way I see it it’s so interesting for me to think of an au in wich unuki posseses a diff host, how he would develop and craft his personality and identity starting off as a different person with a different persona to copy, aswell as with a different surrounding and different compaignion.

For ‘hikaru’, he wouldn’t be who he is now if it wasn’t for oghikaru’s influence in building his persona, and for yoshiki’s companionship and support. So different starting points and relationships, would shape him differently.

Ppl often forget that ‘hikaru’ is not hikaru but sillier or freakier, that’s a whole different person.

I love thinking about different aus in wich unuki posseses diff ppl; analysing who would he become being influenced by a different personality and different ppl that surround him; aswell as how would the other person (taking yoshiki’s place) react to their so being replaced with an eldritch being. Tbh Yoshiki is very special, he’s empathetic and selfless towards ‘hikaru’ and never once intended to use him for his benefit, accepting him as a complete separate individual and still remaining by his side. But diff characters would react differently obviously, some would treat unuki very shitty, some would force him to be that SO they are replacing, some would br terrifyied, some would act similar to yoshiki, it all depends on the character, the core of the og relationship, and how would they move on from their partne’s death.
