june ‘26 recap!

• had an obsession with lush this month - I only came home with rose jam, a scrub, and a massage bar, but I literally thought about lush every day this month ha ha thanks tiktok algorithm

• taylor swift tshirt worn to my bodypump class in honor of the ts5 single and my class instructor also being a swiftie

• pistachio at the pool!!

• little observations (at the only vegan restaurant in town)

• brought in 3 flavors of vegan donuts in to work to share and they were a hit!

• sweet sleeping angel baby

• more reading at the pool

• a cinematic photo of pistachio pooping

I have spent the last 8-12 months trying to use up the random silly supplements we have acquired over the years; multis, ashwaganda, d2, b complex, cranberry supplements, etc. I’m close to finally purchasing my own and curious what everyone deems important and/or necessary? I’ll probably pick up my supplements from my local co op grocery store

also maybe should add that I have bloodwork yearly with my primary and I’ve never been deficient/low in anything ✅

I am not sure how I forgot this but april ‘25 recap, three weeks late! hah

• obsessed with the Dolly Parton chocolate chip cookies, I use bob’s egg replacer and earth balance and let my husband devour 14 in one evening

• still ice skating :) working on 3 turns and backwards one foot glides!

• admiring very beautiful wall graffiti

• went hiking at the gorge

• hid a photo of Obama giving himself an award and Austin didn’t notice it for days

march ‘26 recap 🎊

• went to a heated rivalry rave - 10/10 😜

• still going strong with ice skating lessons! took a painful fall backwards with my knee twisted during a lesson but we are all good now!

• my sweet Dexter baby

• threw the tennis ball for pistachio aka his favorite thing in the world

• bodypump!! I have been trying to go twice a week since Feb and I definitely feel myself getting stronger because of it!

• reading (of course) and enjoying a Sunday latte with Austie

• we had film photos taken earlier in the month and got them back - I love them! the film is so beautiful

my aunt gave me this super nice charcuterie board for my birthday last year and I’ve been too intimidated to use it, but just like a nice candle, sometimes you just gotta use it for the sake of using it :)

feb ‘26 recap:

• noticed new baby leaves on several of my monstera plants after what felt like months of no growth

• gave the vegan yo egg another chance - this was 100x better! went with my own black salt and had it on top of avo toast

• dressed up for a retirement party - Austin found the perfect green shirt to match my dress! I feel like I need to stop matching our colors tho. someone commented on how we are always coordinated and I’m like hmm I feel like I don’t even give Austin the chance to pick his outfits, I just make him match me and maybe I shouldn’t do that lolol

• beautiful Valentine’s Day flowers from Aus :)

• vegan strawberry crunch donut! tuesdays are my new dedicated donut day bc I do surgeries at work on Tuesdays & I typically come in later, so I have time to stop for a donut 🍩

• wuthering heights! with book club!! except my phone is really slow when I take photos and it lagged and I didn’t get all the lettering in the photo

• sunday morning coffee and heated rivalry 🏒

jan’26 recap: this month felt like a fever dream? so long and drawn out but great and also horrible

** I turned 30 at the beginning of the month! I’m not sure I have any photos of my birthday? they must be on my husband’s phone. we drive an hour and a half to a vegan bakery that was closed for the holidays and Google had not supplied the updated hours 😭 ended up getting 5 cinnamon rolls from cinnaholic lol. also ice skating lessons are going great but I have no photographic proof, we are working on crossovers and backwards skating now 🤍⛸️

• working my way through my loose leaf teas and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious this white chai was!

• day three or four of being stranded inside from snowmageddon, also battled bronchitis / an ear infection that has persisted almost three weeks

• breaking up this month’s reads with something sweet and easy and light (project Hail Mary, wuthering heights, lady tan’s circle of women, and the wedding people!)

• admiring my cutie Valentine’s Day inspired nails

dec ‘25 recap 🎄 my lack of photos this month is frustrating and a reminder to myself to document more of daily life

• Kentucky got some snow, December was both single digits and 70 degrees 😒

• orzo chickpea soup, fresh herbs, soooo good

• vegan strawberry rhubarb jam thumbprint cookies! for one of the docs I work with

• vegan sugar cookies, for my dad

• window shopping at a local thrift/antique shop. I love the curation

• probably waiting in the car while Austin ran in the store haha
