why r u posting that in the ship tag in the first place!!!! Also, the fact that Jinu has in fact done unforgivable things as opposed to ur usual "but the villain's just misunderstood :( he had good reasons!" is what makes Rumi's determination to save him work even better.

It's easy to give someone a chance when you think their actions are justified. It's easy to overlook "sins" that don't necessarily go against your values or morals. But the moment someone crosses that invisible line, lots of people immediately determine they are beyond saving and far too gone.

Jinu left his family. he killed tons of people. that's plenty enough reason for most to think he deserves to be condemned to hell. yet somehow there's someone out there who sees his pain and doesn't disregard it because of his actions. and even after he betrayed her, when she confronted him & he thought she'd finally treat him like the monster he is, she told him he was more than his sins.

"That's the funny thing about hope. Nobody else gets to decide if you feel it."

Something that really bothers me about Marissa Fittes...

So, we know that the problem started 50 years ago, and Marissa and Tom were teenagers when it first broke out - let's assume they're around 15 (I don't remember if their age was explicitly stated). That makes Marissa's spirit around 65 years old, which is so incredibly FRUSTRATING because for all of the chaos and devastation she's caused, she didn't even exceed a normal human lifespan!

Whether, anime, manga, live action, or musicals, Usagi and Mamoru possess personality traits that the other simply has the hots for.

Sure, they might not see those traits in one another immediately, but they do eventually.

But my second theory is that Gabriel didn’t like whatever Emilie was trying to do with the miraculous. That it was a major source of conflict for them (I mean we have gotten little hints that their marriage wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine). And maybe one day he got fed up and broke it himself thinking that it would put an end to the drama and that Emilie wouldn’t be able to transform anymore….but she could and did, this time with major consequences to her health. And she kept using it, both for her goal, and to spite Gabriel.

And he trusted felix enough at the end of felix to shake his hand- USING HIS HAND WITH THE RING! Which means he probably didn't pick up on any negative emotions there either, if any emotion.

Really the only time Gabriel is able to sense an emotion is when someone is raging.
