Love that Bisexual

I don’t even know where to start, so I’ll just start off with this:

Hi, how are you all doing? I hope you guys are doing well. I know it has been a very VERY long time since I’ve posted, or have even been remotely active on this blog (it’s been a year, I checked). I don’t know who is even still here at this point, but if you are, thank you for sticking around, I know I have a lot of explaining to do. 

I had this massive paragraph written about what the past year has been like for me, how I’ve changed and all this crap that honestly, I don’t think anyone really cares about. So let me just get to the point. I’m not going to use this blog anymore...like at all. I know I’d come back every once in a while and make promises about posting again that I clearly didn’t keep, so I’m just going to cut the bullshit and say that I’m done with this blog for good. There a few reasons why I’m doing this. The first reason, to simply put it, is that I don’t use bisexual as a label for myself anymore, it just doesn’t feel right for me. My entire experience with that can be a post in itself, but I just haven’t found the words to properly articulate that journey just yet. The second reason is that I just don’t have the time to regularly post on this blog anymore. I am a junior in high school now, I’m taking ap classes, I’m a part of multiple clubs, I have theatre, I have a job, and on top of that, I’m prepping for college. I don’t have the time (or the energy) that I had freshmen year when I first started this blog. I tried using the queue for a while, but even that became a lot to keep filling up when I ran out of posts. 

So what happens to the blog now? To be honest, I was thinking about deactivating, I’m not sure if I’ll do that just yet. I made this blog to be a safe place for bisexuals and members of the lgbt+ community alike, and I still think it serves that purpose. People can still come here and use it as a safe place if they like. I just won’t be here anymore. 

So that’s pretty much all I wanted to say. We had a good run here, and honestly, I had a lot of fun. Thank you to all my followers, people who sent in anons, dms, and all those who just kept up with the blog. I love and appreciate all of you so much. I haven’t forgotten about this blog, I’ve just been busy....on Twitter mostly. Maintaining both a Twitter account and a Tumblr blog is extremely difficult, but I really do miss this blog, and the community I’ve created on it. So I’m gonna try and revive it.
