Tasty Riblja Čorba (fish soup) in the historic Skadarlija district, tavern-style pizza and red wine in Dorćol, then a nice walk to Zemun for apple cake and house wine at one of the floating raft restaurants along the Danube River 🍕🦢🍏

Facing the open kitchen and chef's counter, a delightful 14-course tasting menu and local wine pairing at Salt 🍽🍷

Great craft beer at Gunners Pub with a solo traveler from Switzerland 🍺 Živeli! 🍻

Had a great time tasting various cheeses and flavored Rakija at the market, stopped by the beautiful Church of Saint Sava, and for lunch enjoyed Serbian wine, salad, Ćevapi, bread, and Karađorđeva Šnicla - a rolled up veal cutlet stuffed with kajmak cheese then breaded and fried 🧀 🍽 Also tried Rakija made by her father 🥃 Thank you, Milica! 🇷🇸

I met a couple other women traveling solo around the Balkans. We enjoyed drinks, mythology at the Ethnographic Museum, people watching on Skadarlija, and talking about the wonderful aspects and personal joys of solo travel🍹

A delicious Pljeskavica (grilled Serbian hamburger) served with kajmak (dairy cream spread), cabbage, onions, and warm freshly baked lepinja (Balkan flatbread) 🫓 And I saw the beer in a red and gold can with a long name my driver told me to try 🍺😄

Made it to Zurich! 🇨🇭 And the IIHF Men's World Championship is going on! 🏒 Had a couple fun hockey-filled days. Pegamed at the Fan Zone, watched Hungary, USA, and Austria play. Even made it to the sold out Switzerland vs Finland game with the help of a guy I met in Belgrade! The energy was insane and I got to cheer on Devils Nico and Timo! 😈 Thank you so much for all your help, Pascal! 🇦🇹 🇭🇺 🇺🇲 🇨🇭 🇫🇮
