i kinda wanna ramble for a sec bc this is my first post abt the twins on here... from what ive noticed, the bullet train fandom is far more active on tumblr than on twitter... 💀 and i always get nervous abt posting in new fandoms. unfortunately, i am terrified of being perceived, but also, i wanna branch out a little :]

so uh. hai, if youre reading this, i watched bullet train a few weeks ago n have been hooked ever since. i am currently reading the book as well as anna karenina, of course lol

im not a complete expert on tarot cards but im actively learning and getting into the practice and this is how this idea spawned into my head !! i was doing research on the meanings behind each card and when i saw the two of cups I WENT BALLISTIC BECAUSE IT REMINDED ME SO MUCH OF THE FRUITS

the two of cups are literally a perfect reflection of both the strengths and weaknesses of lemon and tangerine's relationship imo.

like upright represents compatibility, balance, and mutual support. to me these are the strengths of their relationship. their connection is so strong, they know how to support each other and they each have qualities that weld perfectly with the others'. they care about each other so passionately, even if it's not clear from an outsider's perspective. they don't need to prove anything to anyone but themselves.

on the other hand, the reversed meaning of this card is just as accurate. codependency. that's it. they can't live without each other. they're so emotionally dependent on one another that they can almost feel each other's physical pains. they're not individual people, they're one person. it's almost like they share a heart. when one is gone, the other rots away.
