I’ve made a post about this before, but thought it was so unusual, interesting and helpful, that I wanted to mention it again.

HOW TO MAKE A DIAPER FAR MORE ABSORBENT:

Diapers contain plastic polymer as well as the cotton wool like padding. It absorbs over ten times its own weight of water. (My pictures show 20ml of crystals, with 250ml of water added)

You can easily buy this plastic polymer in D.I.Y stores in the garden section.

It’s not only a fantastic way of massively increasing the capacity of a diaper, it saves you money, saves having to change so often, and, most importantly, it swells to give a wonderful squishy feeling (if that’s you’re kinda thing of course)

(Note: you may need a grown up to help with this)

Simply (carefully) seperate the plastic from the cotton inner of a diaper, just wide enough to be able to get a small funnel in. Fluff the diaper and carefully pull the inner material away from the cotton wadding so that the crystals can fall all the way down to the front and middle of the diaper.

Pour the crystals inside (20ml is enough, but if you want to have a bit of fun, you can easily fit 100ml)

The rest is up to you :)

I’ve sorted them into different usage categories. If you mess, you may want to consider going up at least one category (e.g., if you would normally need ‘Daytime Plus’ diapers during the day, you might want to go up to ‘Overnight’). This is because messing also uses some absorbency.

It seems like a lot of people in the abdl community don’t know about diaper fluffing, so I thought I’d make a quick tutorial! If you’re not sure what diaper fluffing is, it’s basically breaking up the fibers in your diaper to let air in, and make them thicker and more comfortable! Diapers are packed SUUUPER tight to make shipping cheaper, so your diapers won’t come out of the package as fluffy as they should be! Here’s how you do it

Step 1: Unfold your diaper all the way (pretty easy)

Step 2: Fold your diaper in half hotdog style, then gently pull your hands in opposite directions up and down the fold you made. You should feel the material giving a little as you do this. BE CAREFUL AND DON’T RIP THE DIAPER

Step 3: Unfold your diaper, and do the same thing to the inside, gently pulling your hands apart

Step 4: Voilà! Fluffed and ready to go!

“Now what?”

Both girls sat in silence, considering the question. They had managed to escape from the mall, and they were currently sitting in their car, still parked behind the shopping center. Erin had tried more or less fruitlessly to hide the wet spot shining between her legs on their way out, but she was definitely not going to buy a change of pants looking like she was. She considered asking Elaina to get something for her, but that would take even longer than just going home, and she would still have to wash her wet clothes without anyone noticing.

“This isn’t fair.” Erin said, letting some of the emotions she felt creep into her voice. “We’re eighteen now. I shouldn’t have to be worrying about how I’m going to hide the pants I peed in, or what to do if I wet the bed.”

“I know,” Elaina comforted her sister. “But at least we know what’s happening now. We can control this.”

“What’s happening?” Erin sounded incredulous. “I hope you can fill me in, because I have no idea what’s happening. When one of us pees, so does the other? That’s not something that happens. What are we, cursed? This sounds like the kind of charming little antidote parents of twins tell…”

“Anecdote.”

“Whatever, you know the kind. ‘Oh my little darlings do everything together. If one of them wet the bed, I would always get two nappys out because the other was surely already wet.’ Give me a break!”

“I know,” Elaina shook her head. “You’re right. I don’t know why this is happening. We can’t know exactly what’s happening.” Elaina held Erin’s eyes, trying to look more confident that she felt. “But we can figure this out. We know what to look out for now, and we can beat this, we have to.”

Erin didn’t look entirely convinced, but some of the gloominess had left her eyes. Erin nodded, and Elaina started the car. The mall was the most exciting thing in their little town, so it had become the center of the city both metaphorically and geographically. Little subdivisions had grown up in a radius all around the mall. It wasn’t long before the girls made it back to their house.

“Okay, I’ll go in first, and if Mom is around, I’ll try and distract her. You get up stairs and change before she notices you wet yourself.”

Erin grimaced. “Can you not say that so casually. It’s basically your fault I wet myself anyway.”

“Let’s go.”

Elaina walked in the front door, trying to look casual as her eyes flitted around. There was no sign of her mother. Maybe she was taking a nap?  With a quick wave, Elaina gestured for Erin to go. Erin was up the stairs and down the hall in seconds. She was nearing her bedroom door when it started to open. Erin froze for a heartbeat as she saw her mother emerging from the bedroom. With limited escape routes, Erin dashed into the open bathroom.

“Erin?”

Dang. Erin never could quite understand how her mother could so easily tell her and her sister apart, especially from behind, at a glance. Had her mother spotted Erin’s wet butt as it disappeared into the bathroom? She had obviously noticed Erin’s presence, but maybe she hadn’t seen the wet spot. It seemed like a long shot.

“Yes, Mom?” Erin hid her body, and her wet pants, behind the bathroom door as she stuck her head out to face her mother.

“Is everything alright?” Erin panicked for a moment. Was everything alright? Well no, not really. Erin was hiding in the bathroom, hoping her mother hadn’t spotted Erin’s wet pants. It almost felt nostalgic.

“Yeah, of course. Everything’s fine.” Erin winced slightly. Was her voice higher pitched than normal?

“You’re back from the mall sooner than I expected.”  Erin’s mother didn’t mention Erin’s accident. Maybe she hadn’t seen.

“Yeah well,” Erin gave what she hoped was a natural sounding laugh. “They didn’t really have what I was looking for.”

Erin’s mother seemed satisfied by that, because she turned to walk back down the stairs.  “You left some clothes in the laundry room. I put them back in your closet.”

“Thanks Mom.” Erin ducked inside the bathroom and clicked the door shut. She let out a long breath she hadn’t realized she had been holding.

Erin stripped out of her wet clothes, leaving her pants and panties in a ball on the floor. She hung her shirt on the back of the door and stepped into the shower.

With the hot water running down her back, Erin could imagine that everything was normal. She could imagine when her biggest worry was school, or dating, not worrying that she had become the victim of some magical curse that caused her to pee without realizing. Maybe there was a reasonable explanation. A doctor would be the normal first stop in a situation such as this, but Erin didn’t relish the idea. Even if she was technically an adult now, it wasn’t likely that Erin would be able to get a doctor’s appointment without her mom finding out.

Erin pushed those thoughts out of her mind as she relaxed in the water. It wasn’t until she heard a yell, followed by a bang that Erin realized exactly how relaxed she had been. The apparently unlocked bathroom door burst open as Elaina ran in.

“What are you doing?” Elaina hissed, throwing back the shower curtain. Erin wasn’t particularly shy around her sister, but the action still took Erin by surprise coming from Elaina. Erin shut off the water and grabbed her towel.

“What do you…” Erin trailed off as she looked down at Elaina’s formerly dry pants. Snaking streaks of wetness trailed down from her crotch, making a telling stain on the front of Elaina’s jeans.

“I thought we had established that we weren’t going to pee unless we were both ready.”  Elaina’s face was bright red, from some combination of anger, embarrassment and exertion.

“Sorry, I just…” Erin said, sheepishly. “I didn’t even notice. I guess it’s just habit.”

Elaina sighed, looking somewhat mollified, and ashamed at her outburst. “It’s alright, it just caught me off guard. I guess we’re even now after all.”

Elaina glanced back at the bathroom door. She stepped to it and clicked the lock into place.

“It’s strange though,” Elaina continued. She yanked the shower curtain closed so Erin was cut off from view. “Even though you just made me pee myself, I still need to go. I would have thought my bladder should be empty, but it feels almost full.”

“Why is that strange?” Erin poked her head out from behind the curtain. “And what are you doing?”

Elaina had seated herself on the toilet, wet pants and panties down around her ankles.

“Hey!” Erin felt liquid splashing at her feet and she could hear the tinkling sound of Elaina’s pee hitting the water of the toilet bowl. Erin looked down, seeing the pee pouring out of her crotch. She couldn’t even feel it, and she was unable to stop or change the flow at all.

“What?” Elaina shot Erin a mischievous grin. “You were already in the shower.”

“I thought I was done in the shower.” Erin grumbled as their pee stream tapered off. Erin turned the faucet back on, causing hot water to cascade onto her back.

“Don’t take forever, I need a shower too now, thanks to you. And no more peeing.” The latter was something Erin could agree to wholeheartedly.

Elaina stuck her head out of the bathroom door, checking to see if the coast was clear. When she couldn’t see any sign of her mother stalking about, Elaina dashed to her bedroom. She had reluctantly pulled her pants back up. She didn’t particularly want to change into clean clothes before she got a chance to wash up. So Elaina settled for pulling on an old pair of childish panties she never wore. She wasn’t even completely sure why she still had a pair of pink panties covered in white hearts, but Elaina could never bring herself to throw them away either. She always had trouble getting rid of mementos from her childhood.

Once both Erin and Elaina were showered and dressed, they sat on Erin’s bed in silence. It was getting late, and there was one question that hung over them. The gloomy stench filled the air until one of them finally spoke.

Me:I’ll just let out a lil more slowly…
