Overwhelmed || Sophia & Ben

One would suggest the supply closet, but I'm worried that wont due. So how about the coffee shop down the road? I'm Benjamin by the way.

Natalie was usually pretty good at hiding her smiles, but she liked what Ben was saying, especially his very lame excuse about seeing her. She brought her eyes back to him and then away, to the New York City skyline as she wrapped her coat around her tighter. It was windy up there. ”About that.” She suddenly remembered as if he abruptly reminded her of the fact that a lot of the government agents were actually working inside the CitySpire building, which was as bad as you could get for a second generation. ”Damon suggested for me to stay at the Viceroy for the time being, until he finds me another place. I’m not too happy about moving, but I have to admit, it is the safest option right now.”

Benjamin met every word that he spoke to Natalie and they both knew this. Seeing her smile caused him to actually smile. Watching her wrap her jacket around herself, he made his way over to her, this time it was from behind and he just wrapped his arms around her. Holding her close, looking out into the skyline. It was silent for a moment and in that moment, he felt like they were back in their apartment building, watching the sun go down from the roof until Natalie's voice broke through his thoughts. Listening to her statement, he still held her close to him as if he was still trying to protect her from everything that the world was doing to her. "I don't like the idea that you are staying there. Especially with Originals crawling all over that building and with what Isaac and Ryan said and what we seen on that phone." That was when he took one of his hands and moved it to his pocket. Digging out a set of keys. "Now, I'm going to trust you not to steal everything that I own...again." He joked lightly and it showed in his voice. Moving the keys in front of them, this way she could see the key chain that had a 'N' on it and set of keys. "Keys to place. Use it whenever you want. And don't fight with me on this, Nattie." 

Her lips merging into a thin line, Natalie offered a tiny hint of a smile before she glanced back to the phone. Sliding downward with her thumb, she was now checking the people in the database out. There were faces that she knew, then there were faces that she only managed to catch a glimpse of at the meeting, and some of those were completely unknown. Still, it seemed like a brilliant idea — a secluded, secure place where they could check in with each other and learn about more people who were like them and at the same time, learn about their enemies. It was obvious that the database was in the initial stages, but in time… it could become a gold mine. ”Thank you for showing me this. I can only imagine how crucial this thing will become very soon.” Natalie nodded, handing it over back to him. ”It’s a fantastic idea. Anyhow, no word on the Ryan rescue plan?”

Seeing the small smile on her face, caused a small smile to break out onto Ben's face. Watching her check out the database, even as she looked through things, Natalie was beautiful. Hell he always thought that and always would no matter what. Yes, he knew some people and that included Florence and she had seen him at the meeting. Just like Chelsea, he had recognized her. "I hate that most of our enemies are in the same building that we are. The building that I'm protect and I can't even do that because I'll blow my cover." He ran a hand through his hair, looking over at her still. Yes, he was stressed but avoiding people wasn't exactly the best thing he could do and he barely even trusted anyone. If there were a few people, Natalie was one of them. "Your welcome. Its slightly my job and gave me the perfect excuse to see you again." Taking the phone back, he slipped it into his pocket and smiled. "No word yet at least not that I know of. Isaac has been quiet about it."

Training || Vincent & Benjamin

Honestly he had no idea what he was doing there, looking up at the Viceroy, the last time he had been there was that night when Ryan was taken and their meeting had been interrupted. But he remembered some of the words that were spoken with the others, only the Originals could help them developed their powers and understand them so maybe that was why he was there. Making his way inside, he passed the desk and went to the private gym. Of course he had changed into work out clothes as he waited. That was when he heard Vincent's voice.

”Tell me about it.” Natalie was as much of a carefree type as you could get, yet she felt down most of the time ever since the attack. It took more toll on her than she even assumed it could have taken. ”He does? Can we like, team up and help him somehow? I hate feeling this useless.” And in the bigger scheme of things, she really wanted to pitch in and help somehow, anyhow. Sighing, she got hold of the phone he handed over to her. ”What is this…?” She asked absentmindedly, realizing, the more she looked at it, that it was some kind of an archive. ”Wait, I know these people… well, some of them. Is this… a database?”

"As long as you are being safe that is all that matters to me." Benjamin told her honestly, looking over at her. He was always worried about her to be honest. And not just because of the place that she worked, but in general he was worried about her. "He has it covered, that is all that I know. I wish, I offered my helped and thats when he sent me that." He said this referring to the phone in her hands now. "And believe me, Nattie you are far from useless. Trust me on that one." Nodding his head a little bit. "As do I. Seems like Isaac and Ryan have been busy. They made this and I'm only suppose to show people like us and then destroy it."

Starting at the random arm that had snuck around her waist, Ella turned her attention from the man who had been insisting on buying her drinks. Immediately she recognized Ben and relaxed, waiting until the creep moved on to some other poor girl she raised her eyebrows. “Babe huh? I didn’t think we were on that level.” Ella motioned to the chair next to her. “I believe you do too.” 

When the creep left, Benjamin let go of Ella's waist before he took the seat next to her. "Sorry it was the only way I could think to get him to leave you alone." He stated as he shrugged a little bit. "Not unless you secretly like me calling you, babe, And if thats the case then I'll do it more often." He teased lightly with a smile on his lips. "I do and I will explain." He motioned for the bartender who brought them over two beers, turning his attention back to her. "My friend was well we thought that he was in trouble because he left the party early and Isaac had a date so he left me the phone just in case I had to go and pick up this friend of ours." He stated, knowing it was a lie but it sounded reasonable. 

"There was a lot more…writhing." Andrea chuckled. "Uh, I don’t know. It was much more in your face. Less burlesque, more orgy?" Andrea shrugged and laughed. "And that’s a smart move about staying on Damon’s good side. He can be a nasty brat when crossed."

Benjamin chuckled a little bit and nodded his head. "I see but no worries no judgement. I promise you this." He couldn't help but smile a little bit more, for some odd reason he felt relaxed talking with a perfect stranger. "Yeah..I don't want to cross anyone so staying on everyones good side is my goal tonight even if something happens. But so far it seems calm which is something that I'm perfectly fine with." 

Cop… He can understand then the life what Benjamin has or at least had a few time ago. Then he listened all his words. Jack was still on calm, he understands how hard should be. That was the worst part of the training, the change. Nobody wants that kind of change, when they discover their families aren’t their and they found themselves with a lot on their hands. “sparks… It is Ryan Johns?” He didn’t remember other second generation with that. “Don’t apologize. At least you are talking and that is what you need now. See… the ability is deeply connected with feelings. And you need to learn, even when isn’t good or taste awful.” He was talking about his own ability. “What was the first change?”

Truth was Benjamin didn't have any family to begin with, he was in the foster system since he was a baby because his parents didn't want him but now he felt like he knew the real reason as to why they didn't want him. So family wasn't an issue, he was alone but all of this was also very new and that was what freaked him out. He had no idea who to share any of this with. "Yeah..Ryan. We went through the academy together before I got the job at the CitySpire." He explained. Listen to Jack as he explained the ability, he glanced over at the man. "I take it that you have this as well?" Walking next to him now, he raised a brow slightly. "Well Damon had me bite into a snickers bar and it tasted awful." 

First Encounters || Payton & Ben

Benjamin was doing his routine checks, that was when he came across Brava. Of course he tensed a little bit thinking it was Florence inside but he made his way inside anyways. Seeing Payton, he was relieved. "Sorry, its just late and I wanted to make sure everything was alright." 

Thanks - Ella & Ben

He walked into the bar, looking around a little bit. That was when he saw the familiar brunette at the bar. Seeing some guy harassing her, thats when Benjamin made his way over to them. Placing an arm around her. "Sorry, I'm late babe. Work." He said this casually before glancing to the guy who seemed to have backed off and walked away. Pulling himself away from her, he glanced over at Ella. "I do believe that I owe you a drink and an explanation."

Natalie’s face lit up at his hug as she hugged him back briefly. ”I know better than that, I was careful, don’t worry.” She said, nodding. It was the truth — ever since after they were attacked, Natalie was beyond careful where did she go and whom did she talk to. Nothing seemed safe anymore. ”Okay, I guess. How are you?”

Pulling away slightly, he looked over at her. "Well, I'm not usually the worrying type but I am right now. Cause of everything that happened." That much was true. Florence had seen his face and she worked in the same building that he was set to guard. So now he was being more careful and taking on more day shifts then night shifts. "I've been better. Still worried about Ryan, but Isaac tells me he has everything covered. Which reminds me." Reaching into his jacket pocket, he handed the phone over to her. "Take a look at this."
