Alt-J - Every Other Freckle

I feel like if you find something wrong with this song, you have to be one of those people that hates on anything and everything that gets more than 250k views on Youtube.

Production on this track is superb, or maybe it just feels that way because it is just such a departure from their debut, which at times felt a bit underdone.

Obligatory-

Feels Like: diving into water from a rocky cliff.

Smells Like: a greenhouse filled with herbs.

Tastes like: the inside of a kit-kat wrapper on a warm day.

I am pretty impressed with this new album, I think they kept their popular sensibilities and quirkiness but mad a much more cohesive, linear album.

I feel like if anyone else besides Aphex Twin had released Syro, nobody would care. I feel like the album is incredibly bland, personally, and I don't dislike Aphex Twin at all. I just can't make myself excited about this effort.
