My concept of true failure is to have a normal day to day job standard hour, no work on weekend unless for overtime. To be married and have children that will always be with a baby sitter as both parent spent most days at work. To own a three bedroom house, overly tidy –look like a show home- to have friend that are married couple and we meet up with annual twice every year. To sit having dinner every night at the same time at a table discussing our day. My concept of failure is everyone else idea of a perfect normal life and live happily ever after.

No one every live happily ever after, fairy tales don’t exist, well the ending that is. And neither does normal.

Now my concept of succeeding is to live in an apartment, two bedrooms, quite untidy old worn rug on the floor, books everywhere and the odd ornament here and there. To have a job that I’m at most of the day, working odd hour due to the fact the job with be animal based. To arrive home at an ungodly hour to find my roommate sat up watching ‘The Big Bang Theory’ while eating noodles, even though they have work the next day, with another bowl in the microwave waiting for me specially.

To travel the world with my friend and have gap years that I can talk about in years to come. Still laughing at the memories. To travel wherever my work take me to work alongside some of the most amazing animal ever to exist. And to be happy.  

That my idea of susses an ironic one as I’m spending most of my teenage year planning out my whole life and yet wanting a work hour that vary and an unordered house hold. But I want my house to be welcoming and my life to be somewhat stress free. This is my idea of success as it’s not much but at least I can say in the end that I’ve reached my dream.

That my idea of perfect.

But perfect has never coexists with life has it?

You also ask me why i ever liked you, you force me to list reason why i did.

You laugh at my response.

To you you treat me like your entertainment.

You always tell me that you don’t like me, you say it some many time a day.

But who are you trying to convince me?
