The best advice I've received in my 20s: "learn to be still"
#from imam dawud walid#this is why sitting with scholars and people of knowledge is important#sometimes they'll look at you and say something#not realising how relevant it is#and it stays with you and changes your life#or heals whatever youre going through#in the weirdest ways#but im trying my best to be still#and trust in Allah#and His timing#and whatever He has written#but its so so so difficult#like my chest is in physical pain#but its helped my anxiety a lot#Alhamdulillah#p#reminder
