I've been looking over my old comic book collection. I've never claimed to be a superfan of comic books, but always liked the thought of walking into a store and picking something up with decades of history and storytelling behind it. I loved how in any random comic I'd pick up, different people were in charge of storyline, inking, storyboarding, shadows, and coloring, almost like in a stage play. I would barely buy for continuity, settling for story fragments that I would practice voiceover stuff with in my head. I don't know if that makes me bad. But it's certainly prepared me for settling for fragments, and for rejecting all resentment for the things I'll never really "get". I'm doing my best. 5/14/19 Samantha, a couple of friends and I will be in Melbourne in September to see Fleetwood Mac, and since it'll be quite cold, I went out hunting for some warm wear right away. Luckily, we found this gem at the thrift shop! A circa 1970s piece designed by Ellesse for Beconta skiwear. It's unflatteringly puffy, slightly motheaten, and the zipper is broken, but for ₱150, I really can't complain.
