Black Widow Bites

So, it’s been nearly 4 years since I made this blog. Nearly 2 since it went inactive. But...I miss Widow. And the situations that caused me to leave this blog were resolved, at long last. 

It kind of feels like coming home, except that everyone I knew here has moved on to other blogs and other fandoms. So I’m not entirely sure where to start, except --

I have depression - have for years. Due to some recent events in my life, what I was managing as 'yeah, I'm depressed, but I'm coping pretty well, I get most of my work done and go to class.' relapsed again into 'I haven't gotten out of bed for 4 days.'

Over the weekend, I forced myself out of the house to spend time with friends, in the hope that being around people who weren't half-dead would get my mind off things and give me the first step or two out of my slump. It did, but upon actually turning on my laptop and checking into things, I realized something --

I had two weeks of creative writing coursework to do in less than two days. 

I have less pressing, but still rather urgent, due dates in my other classes.

SO! What this means for you, dear followers, is that I'm going to be on spottily for a little while now; I'm not allowing myself to do any RP replies until I've completed my creative writing work and at least put together a schedule for doing my history work.

I know, I know. 'She's doing it again - she comes back for a week and then disappears forever.' I know this has been a pattern with me, mostly because I suck at prioritizing.

I promise I'll be back soon - hopefully by the end of the week, if I can really get myself focused. But there are other things in my life that have to take priority over this blog.
