To anyone that maybe actually reads this HELLO!
I thought maybe I ought to introduce myself. I'm Oliver but y'all can call me Ollie. I'm 33 and probably too old for this by now, but I had to get back on Tumblr after accidentally falling in love with IWTV.
I've been reading both The Vampire Chronicles and Mayfair Witch series for most of my life. I was the weird 7th grader carrying around a copy of The Vampire Lestat and calling myself Merrick. It was pretty cringe worthy.
When I heard about the show I was very reluctant to watch it. I was scared it wouldn't live up to something that held such deep sentimental value to me. Then, during Christmas this year, I had a little free time and finally watched it. Finished the whole thing in 2 days. I have not shut up about it since. It's driving my IRL friends a little batty to be honest.
I've been lurking around the community for a bit and decided maybe it was time to slither out of the shadows and say hi especially since I've begun work on a fic that I intend to start posting very soon!
