Angry Journalist

Did you know so many journalists in the UK get paid less than a full time employee at McDonald’s?  Next time you see us all beautiful and shining on camera remember we live in very tiny apartment shared with 14 others and keep our clothes in our workplace locker.  Actually, on camera journalists get paid decently. But there’s a whole lot of people behind the camera who are starving. 

It’s so sad when you get an email and instead of being someone leaking the latest USA government big malfeasance it’s a PR guy called Steven Perry from a sex toys company offering a free trial of their latest dildo to review.

Being a journalist:  It sucks, everyone hates you. I am not even allowed to have opinions outside of my working hours.  Actually I don’t have working hours. People decide to contact me back whatever time and because everyone hates journalists we are the bitches of the few people who decide to talk to us.  And yet each single person I met during my journalism degree wanted to become a journalist to make the world a better place. You are literally hating on the wrong people.  Imagine spending a whole month on one article just for it to come out and people calling it propaganda. Yikes.
