Over a fortnight since Burnley fired Scott Parker and since then they have signed players, renewed contracts and arranged pre-season tours and games.
Still no manager and the longer it goes the more concerned I get. Most clubs who dismiss their manager already have someone lined up to take over. Not Burnley.
The delay suggests to me that no-one is interested. I can see us ending up with someone totally inappropriate. I hope they prove me wrong.

When i was a lad living in Southport I would regularly cycle to the swimming baths on the promenade. It was where I taught myself to swim.
Round the corner was Rossi’s Ice Cream. My Auntie Margery worked there and I would always get a free ice cream. The taste has stayed with me to this day. Unlike any other I have ever tasted and impossible to describe.
