i love the moon in all its phases

the way the light kisses my skin

and when the darkness fills the night

the moon still shines from within

& sometimes i can’t see the light

but i know that it’s still there

it may not be in my eye sight

but love is still in the air

i love the moon with no conditions

idc if it loves me

it leaves but it always comes back to where it is meant to be

and i don’t cry when it goes down

i know that it is not mine

put here for a world to enjoy

i don’t deserve ALL it’s time

the moon it taught me many things

like how love isn’t possessive

& wanting it all to myself is just a little aggressive

some nights i can’t see the moon but i still go look to see

& if i can’t find it in the sky i say it’s not meant to be

but i know that it’s not forever i will see it again

it may be hidden in the sky but i know it’s not the end

i love the moon, & like my eyes, it has taught me to see

i love you like i love the moon

nobody to me:

me: uhm? are you...okay?

depressed me: yeah of course i’m trippin. it’s nothin. i’m good

me: ohhh.. bc we ain’t been missin no naps... & yesterday was the first day you’ve even gotten out of bed. or showered... or

depressed me: yeah, i’m good im just over reacting. idk y i be actin sad

me: and you eat allllll the time, & you only seem to chipper up when you’re on “cloud 9” but ok jw...

depressed me: yup :) i’m :) good :)

Prime example, is all of the signs that you see. But i can’t tell nobody

so nobody to me:

and nobody can help no one can lend a hand

if i do not tell them that i just need a friend

somebody to pray with me, i need a plan

i pray to the goddess the strongest womban

but i can’t tell nobody for i am confused

how im grateful for life but i’m feeling the blues

but this too shall pass i won’t pain for much longer

bc what doesn’t kill you will make you much stronger
