Summary: After receiving devastating news from his father that his beloved grandmother, Narcissa Malfoy, is in critical condition, Scorpius takes a portkey from New York to rush back home, hoping to see her. Faced with the pressure of producing a Malfoy heir at the age of twenty-seven and an unsuccessful love life, Scorpius heads to the Leaky Cauldron. There, he runs into the annoying pest from his Hogwarts days—Rose Weasley—who (not so coincidentally) manages to solve all of his problems.

a/n: The summary sounds like the premise of my Scorose one-shot :3, but it’s set in adulthood.

The fact that in the books, Grindelwald chose to die rather than reveal the Elder Wand’s location and allow Dumbledore’s grave to be pillaged is just HUGE. He may have been a nasty guy, but despite everything, he clearly loved Dumbledore until his last breath.

The movies really screwed up by making him tell Voldemort. Him NOT telling is so important to his character.

albus' the type that says the funniest thing with the most straight, deadpan face you'll ever see. he does that while the people around him are fighting for their life trying not to laugh. scorpius was sent into a crazy coughing fit because he choked on his own spit while trying not to laugh. james almost peed himself. rose and lily cried.
