The quote belongs to Mike Nichols, an incredibly prolific director, producer, and writer who won an Oscar, Emmy, a Grammy, and a Tony Award. Nichols is known for directing the films “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” (1966), “The Birdcage” (1966), “The Graduate” (1967), and “Closer” (2004).
