The two met on a dating “website” called OK!Cupid, and though neighbors scoffed at the idea of Iyami actually having a romance, he surprised us all with this new romantic side of him, that was apparently there the entire time, he says

“Me loves her, zansu!” he proclaimed while being badgered for comments. “She is a dream girl from France!!”

He proposed to her just eight weeks after he began courting her, locals have said.

“He went all out with it,” local housewife MatsuX commented. “He had flower petals and baguettes just waiting for her. It was really quite touching.”

Iyami was the protagonist of our very own Osomatsu-kun, and after his and Francine’s honeymoon, he says they have a daughter on the way.

“Me loves her VERY MUCH! Me is so happy!!”
