And today I am empty
And today I am alone
Today I am a phantom
Trapped here in stone
Lisa Frank, eat your heart out
Today the void responded, it’s fog curled around me and it shared a secret as old as emptiness itself

being alive is like: you want to go home. you don't know where home is. you want to go home. you don't know where home is. you want to go home. you haven't known for a long time. you want to go home but you don't know where you'd go. you want to go home you want to go home you want to go home

Do you have advice for someone who was really into the idea of witchcraft and started doing some things, but kinda stopped for to family limitations (they wouldn't exactly approve and I still live with them) and college, but wants to get back into it slowly again? I'm inna bit of a funk right now.
I've seen posts vaugly for this directed at minors/high school, but not for someone older. I hope this wasn't worded to weirdly, and that you have a nice day.
(also sorry for kind of spamming with likes ^^;;)
No worries! And I know the feel. It wasn’t worded weirdly at all. When life gets at us, it’s really hard to do witchcraft. Two things that’ve helped me are scheduling and reframing my idea of what witchcraft is.
Scheduling is important but something I struggle with. If I take enough time to schedule something, I know i’ll have time to do it in the week. I know i’ll dedicate time to it. So using a calendar or an alarm system can help. Also having an accountability partner can help as well.
And when I say reframing how you think about witchcraft, I mean make it smaller. I have gotten stuck on moving forward in my craft because it’s not as big and as intricate as other people’s craft is. I believe we get stuck in the headspace that our craft has to look like certain peoples, or that we have to put in x amount of work into it. And when we don’t have the energy or time to do dedicate to such a large expression of the craft, we just don’t do it.
Your witchcraft is a very personal thing to you, thus what you consider to be ‘witchy’ is witchy. For some this is walking with nature, doing a tarot reading, meditation, tea stirring, etc., it literally depends on what you like.
This in mind, find out what’s meaningful and doable to you as a witch, and incorporate it into your day!
I hope this made sense, because I pinballed all around the place. If you need any clarification let me know!
check out my wish list? or consider buying me a ko-fi!!
Thank you!
Yeah this has helped me kinda think. I'm going to think about it for a bit before I try to move forward, baby steps, ya know?
must you finish a thought? is it not enough to
