I’m still working on my dream island. I’m truly so happy with the church area — it gives me that feeling of a crumbling countryside village, fragile and worn, yet still alive in its history.
It reminds me of the Church of Santa Lucia in the small town where my grandmother was born. It’s been closed for years, and yet the locals will always tell you to stop by and say hello to the Madonna. For now, the main square is still empty — I’m still figuring out how I want to shape it — but I’ve created a smaller little plaza with the classic village bar.
I’m sorry for the poor video quality and the rough cuts; I’m still getting the hang of it. Borgo Spiga welcomes you slowly, gently, and more warmly each day… 🌾🌽
