Wren's patience and reassurance with Ren in Step 1 paves the foundation for a very doting friendship as these two grow into themselves in Step 2. Ren is still pretty awkward with herself at times, but that's never seemed to get in the way of Wren wanting to be buddies.

I've been dying to doodle this kid. In my playthrough, despite an unfriendly meeting cause they're "part girl", my MC Wren clocks the emotional distress and insecurity radiating off Ren as a need for reasurance and love and immediately latches onto her.

Umbani has strong self-sacrificing/martyr tendencies, "Viva la Vida but it's Epic" gives me Umbani vibes.
