he’s an outlaw loose and running, came to whisper from each lip

this has made us give up on several drawings very recently ( ex : the drawing we were going to make of pete & gerard ) , but this wasn ‘ t much of an issue in the past ; if we made a sketch with two characters , we ‘ d start with who we knew we could draw & work over & over on the other until we were happy ( ex : that fullbody peterick drawing we made ; we took several hours just to get patrick to look right , but we didn ‘ t give up . we left & took breaks but always came back to finish it because we knew we could . )

we ‘ re getting through this by trying to make the MAIN focus of the drawing those characters we aren ‘ t comfortable with ( ex : that drawing of party poison & fell ; we were SO scared to draw poison but we did it anyways because we knew we could get them right & make them look good & we did . )

i think we need to learn just a bit more that we ‘ re allowed to make mistakes & art we dislike , because we can always go back & make changes or keep working on it until it ‘ s something we ‘ re proud of .

this applies to much more than just drawings — it also applies to our singing , our lyrics , everything we do & create … we can always go back & revise & edit & refine the things we dislike , we can always keep working until we ‘ re proud of it , & we can always make mistakes because we can always fix them . no matter what .

don ‘ t be afraid to make mistakes or create things you don ‘ t like . you ‘ ll just dig yourself into a rut you can ‘ t ( or are too scared to ) climb out of .
