Take Alastor. He shows up, you figure he’s gonna betray the gang at some point. Then we get to the mid-season and he has that hilarious “no I’M her dad!” song with Lucifer and you think, “oh, is the twist that he’s actually a sweetheart?”

Nope. He’s a psychopath. He just likes these people! He’s a morally reprehensible character who also loves Charlie. Love that. Love when it’s not clear cut. What a weird little dude
