So, as some would say, what’s the point to blogging....

Is there really a purpose to it? 

Can you actually get recognized from it?? 

Will blogging actually enhance your brand??? 

The answer to all those questions in - YES!

Of course, like most things, it depends on how much effort you put into it, but when you do, you will see noticeable results.

These days people are connected to the virtual space in all sorts of ways - Computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, smartwatches, smart tv’s, you name it, the list goes on!but this means people are able to be wired in like no other before. 

What does this mean? 

It means people these days have more access to the web that they know what to do with it, so in many cases, they search. They search for items and articles that interest them. Once they find something that sparks their interest, in most cases it’s a spiral effect. First comes the popular platforms of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. From there is could be a lead to company/business website and from there a blog post that grasps their attention. Of course the other social media platforms can certainly catch the views attention, although it’s nothing like a transparent piece of writing that intrigues them to dig a little deep and over time continue to follow.

Blog’s are certainly a way to promote what your brand represents and what your interests are. By outlining this, it should attract those who have similar interests and can then build awareness to your brand and what it represents. 

Blog’s build communication, trust and relationships with those following. By ensuring your readers have a way to leave comments and feedback, this opens a door to you and them. By writing a blog, you obviously have something to say, so why not allow your readers to as well. It becomes opinionated and interesting for them and others to hear what each have to say. It also strengthens your brand when your consistent with replies and feedback to followers.

Blog’s allow you to differentiate yourself from your competitors in a similar industry. Yes it may take a little extra time to brainstorm and create new blog ideas every few weeks, but it this puts you ahead of your competitors, so be it! An extra hour out of your week is nothing if it get you recognized and noticed. 

So the word on the street is.....blog’s build image, add a personalized touch, and certainly will enhance your brand. It really is remarkable how a personalized typed piece can get noticed and appreciated by so many others. Remember, you're the expert of your brand.
