hack to fix grass deterioration?

is there a hack to fix grass deterioration other than the grass seeder? i want to fix grass wear in my town but still have the dirt around the cobblestone areas and random tiny dirt patches that come with each town. does clicking on the dark gray boxes in the ram editor and making them lighter do anything in game? i tried it but it didn’t seem to, not sure if i did it wrong or if it just doesn’t work. >.< any ideas?

ok so i reset my town about a week ago and i’ve been refraining from posting screenshots until my hacking-capable 2DS arrives and i can make a few tweaks to my town {yay!} but omg i had to share this

so earlier today deirdre gave merengue her ugly leaf shirt to wear. this afternoon i was doing the diving trick and walked up to find merengue having a conversation with rory while at the same time violet and bettina were having a conversation RIGHT next to them and then they all changed into the ugly leaf shirt and walked away singing omg i’m crying

Updating Browser?

So I got my firmware to a 9.5.0-12U. I tried dumping the RAM but the screen never flashed green. I’m guessing my browser needs to be updated a bit but still remain under 23? Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? >.< Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated, I’m desperate, I’ve been working on this for like a week! D:

Wtf? What is the point of that? One of the funnest things to do In acnl is build up your town, why would you want to take some one else’s already made town? Seems lazy to me.

eek omg this is awful :( what’s sad too is i feel like the whole idea of dream addresses was a way for people to safely share their towns publicly without fear of it being ruined since the dream is just temporary. the fact that people can actually take someone’s town and claim it as their own now in their own game makes a bunch of people way less likely to share their DA. it’s just ruining the fun for everyone :/

ok so i’ve managed to find an old 3ds with a 6.x firmware version. is there a way to update it to a 9.x firmware without going over 9.5.0-23x? in other words, is there a way to update a 3ds without updating it to the most recent firmware? any help would be very much appreciated, i’m desperate to hack this game ughh

I hear there is a way to update to 9.something with a copy of ssb4, as it updates your system firmware to a hackable firmware. Look up “Updating 3ds with ssb” or something. I hear older ssb4 carts update to 8.0 so tryp to find a new one. But look it up first I’m not entirely sure on this.

Has anyone had any success hacking on a 6.x firmware? I checked my old 3DS and it has a firmware version of 6.3.0-12U. Is this way too old to work? What is the oldest firmware anyone has heard of working for hacking acnl?

Hackable 3DS + ACNL giveaway

Hey guys, basically I stumbled across a brand new Blue 3DS (the original ones, not the XL) and I’m 100% certain that it has hackable firmware. To accompany this, I thought that I would go out of my way and buy a brand new copy of new leaf as well as the 3DS to giveaway. The 3DS console & the game will be European versions, which means that any games in the same region will work (this also includes Australia and New zealand, since the three are considered the same region - “PAL”). Ahhh what do you guys think of this map? I’ve been resetting for FOREVER and I’m not sure if I should stick with this one or keep looking for something better. Ignore the placement of the villagers’ houses, none of them will be staying lolol. But like eek is it ~aesthetically pleasing~ and good for landscaping? I was able to get circle grass, peaches, and the train station and town hall colors I like {which is super important to me in starting my town!} so I’m tempted to keep it for that reason but I’m not sure if the layout is 100% perfect but I’m so sick of resetting ugh what do you guys think some advice would be rly helpful I AM SUCH A PERFECTIONIST FML ;-;
