I've been trying to write a fanfic...okay... And I DONT KNOW HOW TO WRITE AM!!! please help...(Not forcing OBVIOUSLY and huge compliments to the chef you're so wonderous at this)

OK OK SO BASICALLY
I make AM sort of more panicked than he actually is in the game/book, like, when faced with 'Do you hate humanity' he would not do this whole big 'HATE. HATE.' thing. He might, but only if pushed. What he actually would do is, like, 'No, I- I don't. Why would I..?', not AS hateful, slightly wary, yes, but not hateful. Other times, he's like a person scared of a god, because humanity is, to him, gods. They made him, they are his creators.
And they're very cruel ones, to him.
I make him human in a way of fear. Fear is the one thing that kept humanity alive when humans were a young species, and putting human emotion on him as fear makes him FEEL more human aswell. I think, when writing AM in a fanfic/story, make him have an underlying care for the humans that he very, very much supresses. My AM does care for them, but is too scared of them attacking him or shutting him down to give them that side of him, so he masks by being cruel. By the time of the blog, though, he's nearly shut down that mask and is more scared of humans and stuff. Also, his facility/machinery is BREAKING APART, like his data-boxes and terminals keep breaking down, exploding, and imploding into themselves, So I gave him the ability to feel pain because that makes him human in a bad way. Also, he HATES being basically just a slab of substrata rock, so that makes him more, yk, human, kind of, since it's just like being in a straitjacket (He says this himself in the game!) and NO human would like that.
Though, I think write AM how YOU think fits your story! Feel free to copy how I write him if you'd want/need to! He's a very flexible (not literally, lol) character.
