i love how amphibia puts a little twist on the whole "sacrificing yourself for redemption" trope. sasha sacrificed herself for anne in the season 1 finale, but unlike most other antagonists sacrificing themselves, not only did she live, but it wasn't even part of her redemption arc. redemption and forgiveness takes work, and i really think she's gonna have to try to be better in season 3. you can't just do one thing to be forgiven and escape your guilt, you have to realize where you went wrong and then do everything you can to make it right
