It's funny, just yesterday I was rearranging pictures in my room, taking some down, putting some new ones up. I looked at this one I have of Caroll with his and Big Bird's signatures, and thought about how lucky I am to have it, to have gotten it when I did, as he retired last year. And of course I left it up. I look at it every day and think about what I've learned from Caroll; from his book, his documentary, stories from my friends who've had the pleasure of meeting and/or working with him, and of course through his work on Sesame Street. He'll be greatly missed 💛💚

I'm greatly saddened to hear about Caroll's passing. I'd like to thank him for everything he gave for us: entertainment, life lessons, and smiles that will last us for another 50 years and more.
