[A business card for a detective going by the name of I. Montgomery.]

[There's a phone number on the back, as well as an email.]

"Hello there, what a fine evening wouldn't you say?"

The voice is hard to describe in any way other than friendly in tone. It sounds like every possible voice at once, yet none that would be recognised.

"Care to check out my selection?"

Footsteps can be heard coming from the person behind the camera.

"Sure..."

The detective's voice is cautious. He's still dealing with his perceived reality being shattered.

"These are, uh, pretty creepy."

"Creepy is all the rage around here, if you hadn't noticed by now. My masks have such fine craftsmanship I'm certain even an outsider would love to partake in one."

"How much do they cost?"

"Nothing at all! It's a public service. You're practically robbing me!"

[There is no dialogue for a few seconds, the glitching screen is clear enough for a moment to see a mask in one of the detective's hands. It's not really creepy, more silly. Maybe that's why the detective chose that one.]

"A fine choice..."

[The glitching comes back, a loud thunk is heard, like a wooden object hitting someone's skull. Then there's a whoosh of wind, the sound of wood breaking, and a flash of white on the left side of the recording.]

"I was a little sloppy there."

"What the fuck is wrong with you!?"

"Can't we let bygones be bygones? I tried to take you, you broke something of mine-"

[A slashing noise, then the running of legs, a thud on the ground, and a body being dragged.]

"What the hell- get off of me!"
