"I've only tried to take a page out of Bamboo Hatted Kim's book-- You don't like it?" Moses says, a small smile adorning her face as she's attempting something new, in the small bit of downtime they have amidst their work.

That something new being a bit of lighthearted remarks, a few attempts at being snarky; only to fail when she's speaking those remarks to Vespa.

Moses startles as Vespa drops the bag on the table without a word, before watching him take a seat across from her.

This... is new. He's not usually known to buy food for others. Unless he's forced to, that is. Which he'll oblige reluctantly, if their last trip out was anything to go by. She can vividly call his and Ezra's bickering for the entire night.

She pulls out the sandwich from the bag; it's one she'd pick out most of the time when they'd drop by the establishment.

A look of surprise crossed Moses' face as the distortion presents her with the boxed lunch— it appears as though she needn't make a trip outside after all.

"Thank you," She says, setting it down on her desk. "I was under the assumption he would know better than to steal in broad daylight— I suppose I thought wrong, then."
